PORT played hockey vs Keg Ajax in the first ever Movember Cup.  It was a tight game and both sides were equally matched. PORT pulled away in the second and there was no looking back taking the game with a final score of 4-2.  Our great fans and Mark's return to skates after a 15 year absence were the keys to our success.  Most importantly over $800 was raised for the Prostate Cancer Society.  Can't wait for next year.

We were invited to host the VIP reception for the Mayor's Annual Gala dinner.  Chef created a canape menu to reflect the theme of Rick's Cafe from Casablanca.  Our bartenders also mixed up French 75 Champagne cocktails for the cities elite

PORT was invited by the Ontario Tourism Culinary Alliance to represent Durham at their annual Summit meeting.  We stood along side other great Chefs including Jamie Kennedy.  I was nice to be recgonized as being in the top three of the attending restaurants.

Our Executive Chef has been chosen to represent PORT and Durham Region at this year’s Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance Summit on November 9th, 2009.
